The Bud Clark Commons, located at the gateway to downtown Portland, represents a new approach to providing dignified housing by combining transitional housing with a community resource center. Our team was responsible for the furniture budgeting and procurement for this 106,000 sf $29 million project that achieved LEED Platinum certification. The mission of Bud Clark Commons is accomplished through three fundamental components; a 90 bed transitional shelter for men, a walk-in day center that provides a range of services, and 130 efficient studio apartments fully furnished for single women and men seeking permanent housing.
